The CYPRESS CYU-333 is a high quality format converter designed to convert from component video (YUV, YPbPr, YCbCr) to the Scart RGB signal format.
This allows the highest quality video to be displayed on a TV equipped with a Scart type RGB connector.
These converters are ideal to connect the new Apple TV and your European TV together.

Features:

Converts the Component video signal ( from a DVD player for example) to Scart RGB for connecting directly to the input of a SCART equipped TV to obtain the highest quality picture.

It can set TV to Video mode through scart output.

Input selectable between SCART and Component video sources.

Input Signals:

1 x SCART, 1 x Component 3 BNC jacks YCbCr, 1 x L & R Audio RCA jacks.
Output Signals: 1 x SCART RGB & Audio


The connections on this converter are labelled Y, B-Y, R-Y. These are the same as Y, Pb, Pr:
Y = Y = green
B-Y = Pb = blue
R-Y = Pr = red
