Using our Store

To use our store, browse through the categories and items listing on the left.
To place an order, simply click on the purchase tab or the price tag to add it to the shopping cart.
You can continue shopping to add more products to the shopping cart. When you have finished you can then proceed to the checkout.
You can remove a product at any time by returning to that item's page & clicking on the Remove button.
Your personal and credit card details are encrypted via our secure server for your security and protection.
If you do not have a credit card, you can still use our online store.
Simply select one of the other options when you get to the checkout;
Choose Direct Deposit then email the bank receipt or select Cheque or money order then post us your cheque or money order. We match it up with your online order and ship you the goods when we receive your payment. Be aware that emailing is not a secure method of sending us your details.



Ordering and Payment Procedures

You can easily order goods from us by using our shopping cart system. Our Secure Server encrypts all personal and credit card details for secure transmission over the Internet.
An Australian Tax Invoice will accompany all goods.

Be aware that emailing is not a secure method of sending us your details.
You can pay for your order by using a Visa card, Mastercard or Bankcard. You can safely transmit your credit card number via our secure server. We will not debit your credit card until the goods are ready to be shipped.
Payment can also be made by cheque, money order or by direct deposit to our account. Please make cheques or money orders payable to "DIGITAL HOME TECHNOLOGY".

Goods will be shipped when cheques (including direct deposits) have been cleared.
All pricing is in Australian dollars and excludes freight unless noted otherwise on the item's page. Freight is calculated on the total weight of the order and is shown on the checkout page.
Our goods are delivered by Courier, Express Post, Registered Post or Parcel Post. We reserve the right to select or vary the shipping method.
Which the exception of Express or Regular Post, someone must be available to sign for and accept the delivery. There may be an additional charge if the courier has to make a second delivery attempt.



Product Warranty

All products have a 12 month return to base warranty unless a longer warranty is specified by the manufacturer.
Warranty repair or replacement of goods is done free of charge. The customer is required to pay the freight costs to and from our service department.
You must retain your invoice as proof of purchase to obtain product warranty.
Return authorization (RA) must be obtained before returning goods to Digital Home Technology. Copy of original invoice and detailed description of fault must accompany all returned faulty goods.
In the unlikely event that a product is dead on arrival or fails within 14 days, we will accept resposibility for your freight costs of returning the goods to us and our freight costs in returning a repaired or replacement item back to you.
All items will be subject to inspection before credit, warranty repair or replacement can be considered and accordingly, the acceptance of the goods by Digital Home Technology shall not constitute acceptance of credits, repair and or replacement.
Goods returned as 'faulty' but are, after testing, determined not to be faulty will be returned to the customer at the customers expense. An inspection fee of $60 will also apply to any goods where no fault was found.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all products are suitably packaged in order to prevent damage during return shipping as any warranty or claim will be void if goods are damaged in transit.
Products discontinued by the manufacturer shall be upgraded to a similar product or a pro-rata credit will be given for the remainder of the warranty or the purchase price, whichever is lower.
Turnaround time for warranty claims largely depends on the suppliers or distributors. On average, the complete warranty turnaround time for most products is 2-4 weeks. Digital Home Technology does not provide advance replacement. Please keep this in mind when you place your order. Digital Home Technology does not accept responsiblity for any losses resulting from the time it takes to have the faulty item replaced or repaired.
Digital Home Technology hereby disclaims all other warranties, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.



Returns Policy

Please note. We do not refund if you change your mind.
It is the customer's responsiblity to determine if a particular product is suitable for their intended use.
Home Theatre Accessories do not guarantee product compatibility with other remote controls or any other devices.
A restocking fee of up to 20% of the invoice value may be applicable when non faulty goods are returned within 7 days of dispatch date.
Return authorization (RA) must be obtained before returning goods to Digital Home Technology.
Copy of original invoice and written, fully detailed reason for return must accompany all returned goods.
Delivery and handling charges may apply to the original sale and are not refundable.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all products are suitably packaged in order to prevent damage during return shipping as any return claim will be void if goods are damaged in transit.
All items will be subject to inspection before credit can be considered and accordingly, the acceptance of the goods by Digital Home Technology shall not constitute acceptance of a credit.
If a product is not defective or damaged and is being returned to us for credit it must be in its original saleable condition. The product must be in its original packaging with all contents, manuals, cables, batteries, etc, intact and undamaged or an additional charge will apply .
The customer must not write on, deface or attach labels to, the product or product box being returned or an additional charge will apply .
If a product is not defective or damaged and is not returned to us in the original packaging, it will be returned to you at your cost.
Non faulty goods cannot be returned after 7 days of dispatch date.
Digital Home Technology reserves the right to refuse any returns that are incomplete or missing parts or are not returned in their original packaging or show how signs of physical damage to the product or its packaging or does not include a detailed satisfactory reason for return or a valid authorised return number.



Pricing and Product Availability

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
Product descriptions, images, pricing, clerical and other errors are subject to amendment by us, even after orders and payment have been accepted. In that event we will email any amenments to you and upon your confirming those amendments, we will continue to process your order.



Company Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy when you visit our site, contact us or send us any information. All personal details are encrypted by our secure server for your protection. We require personal information about you to identify you as the rightful owner of the credit card used in the transaction and to fulfill your order or if it is required by law. We may contact you to verify your order.
We will not sell, rent, swap, or otherwise disclose to any third party any information provided by you except as is necessary to complete the financial transaction with our bank and for sending you the physical items.
We will not disclose any information about you without your consent unless required to do so by law.



Anti Fraud Policy

We take online fraud very seriously. We have several anti fraud systems in place including billing address verification and credit card verification number checks. We may require verbal order confirmation or other identification if you use a free email address or have different billing & delivery addresses. We log IP addresses and time stamp all orders. Any attempted fraudulent order will have all the details forwarded to the police for prosecution.



Acceptance

Acceptance of our goods, services or quotation is automatic acceptance of these terms and conditions.
